As every groom knows, the music can make or break the wedding. I spent hours, days, weeks searching for the perfect band to lock in the vibe for our big day (September 20, 2025). I reached out to 70–80+ bands across multiple platforms. I honestly don’t know why it took me so long to find @ThoseGuysBand, but from the very first call with Wade, I knew I had found the one. Having never worked with a band before, I can’t tell you how reassuring it was to have Wade, their Director, always ready with an answer, making me feel like I was in great hands. From our very first conversation, I explained my vision and expectations—and WOW did they deliver. They played every song my wife and I requested, showed up looking sharp in black-tie attire, and brought the exact energy I had hoped for. They kept the dance floor alive all night long. Honestly, I’m sad it’s over because they were THAT good. But here’s what really stood out: Wade’s communication. I’ll admit it—I probably bothered him more than most clients, but he never once made me feel like a burden. Instead, he treated me like family. His listening, planning, and execution skills were top-notch. At times, he felt more like my wedding coordinator than my actual coordinator. He made sure every worry disappeared and every detail of our vision came to life seamlessly. Now let’s talk about the band itself…The day after our wedding my phone blew up with texts and calls—everyone was raving about Dennis, our sax player/co-lead singer (absolute stud!!), and Katy, our other lead singer (straight-up ROCKSTAR). And rightfully so. They owned that stage and delivered a performance that left jaws on the floor. Their energy, their vocals, their presence—it all exceeded every expectation of mine, my wife’s, my parents’, and every single guest. Words can’t fully capture how thankful I am to have found a band this lively, fun, AFFORDABLE, and undeniably 5-star. Thank you to Wade and @ThoseGuysBand for making our wedding unforgettable. We can't say enough good things about the music on our wedding day! We hired a string quartet for our ceremony and they set the most dreamy, romantic tone from the moment our guests arrived. They played a beautiful mix of classical and modern pieces with such emotion, it truly felt magical and was one of our favorite parts of the day. For cocktail hour, we had a saxophonist who added such a smooth, sophisticated vibe. It was the perfect transition into the reception, where we had a 4-piece band that absolutely brought the party to life. They kept the energy up and had everyone on the dance floor all night long! The music throughout the entire day felt so thoughtfully curated and was a huge part of what made everything feel so special. We’re beyond grateful — highly recommend!

We had a violin and cello duo for the ceremony and a karaoke DJ reception. Yes, karaoke! It was the best idea ever and Wade helped us customize everything. Our guests had an absolute blast singing their hearts out, and it was the most personal, hilarious, and fun night we could’ve imagined. Thank you for such an amazing night!

We went with a DJ package, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier. He mixed the music perfectly, kept the flow going between speeches and dances, and totally got the vibe we wanted, classy at dinner - full-blown party later. Everyone from our teenage cousins to our parents were dancing. 10/10 recommend!

We hired TG Entertainment for both ceremony and reception music and they absolutely delivered. The string trio played “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as I walked down the aisle, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. For the reception, we had Those Guys with a DJ add-on, and the night turned into the most incredible dance party. Every guest said it was the most fun they’ve had at a wedding!

Those Guys band really made my mom's 70th birthday special! From our first initial call to the end of the night, their communication was great and helped put my mom at ease during the planning process. Their musical talent was impressive - both instrumentals and vocals were excellent. What I appreciated most was how they became more like longtime family friends who had shown up to celebrate with us. Those Guys helped create memories we'll treasure for years, and my mom hasn't stopped talking about how much fun she had. They truly understood what we were looking for and delivered a perfect evening of entertainment.

We hired TG Entertainment for our full wedding experience—a violin and piano duo for the ceremony, a jazz trio for cocktail hour, and Those Guys for the reception. We had an anniversary party at the Proud Bird Restaurant in Los Angeles, Ca. The band played oldies, Rod Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Four Tops, Motown, etc. Happy Music! Everyone loved the band. I added several songs to their song list. They not only accommodated my list but added many songs of the same type of music and genre. Wade, the band manager, did a fabulous job as did the sound engineer and musicians.

Wade is excellent, was communicative and professional and really got our crowd engaged and excited. Highly recommend TG Entertainment for your next event!

Wade from Those Guys set up a 3-piece live band for my wedding reception after talking to me about the style of music we were looking for. I'm a former gigging musician myself, so I love live music and wanted to have that experience at my wedding. They were incredible, and we got tons of compliments from the guests about how great the live band was. Pricing was very reasonable. I can't recommend them highly enough!

We hired Those Guys band for our daughter's wedding at the Balboa Bay Resort. It took me a lot of interviews and research to find the BEST and wow did I find the BEST!!! Their song list is packed with every song imaginable and if it's not on the list, they'll get the music, learn it and ready to rock it! We also had two of their musicians play for cocktail hour which was saxophone and keyboard. The team of 10 arrived on time, dressed gorgeous, all in black and were on stage when the 180 guests entered the ballroom. Everything we asked for, like introducing the wedding party entrance, the special dances, speeches and priority songs, down to the last song which was Miley Cyrus "'We Can't Stop" which pretty much sums up the total amazing party vibe! Thank you Wade Turner!! You were fantastic to work with. You're so darn nice! ... a great listener and communicator, fun, talented and first class pro. Best band EVER!!

I couldn’t recommend Those Guys more! From start to finish, they were incredible. We hired them for a corporate event and they made our evening fun and memorable! Afterwards, everyone was raving about how amazing the band was and what a great time they had. Wade, the band manager, was responsive and flexible in his communication throughout the entire process. We just held our annual reunion for our Baja/Desert Motorcycle racing Community and contracted "Those Guys Band" for entertainment. As soon as they fired up I knew we made a great decision. The music was prefect for our age group, the sound level was spot on, the professionalism and added value they brought to our event put us over the top. More importantly their flexibility and willingness to work around our somewhat changing schedule made everything flow that much smoother. I would recommend "Those Guys Band" for anyone hosting an event. I know who I'm calling for next year's Handstands at 100mph.

Those Guys Band know how to truly rock the house! They are engaging and extremely talented. At our event, they had loads of people dancing early on. Lots of attendees commented on the quality of how great they were. Would absolutely love to have them play a corporate event in the area again.

I hired this band for my 50th birthday party where we had attendees of all ages and EVERYONE had a great time. They were the hit of the party! There were extremely professional, set up early, tore down quickly, provided me a list of songs to choose from in advance. All band members were friendly and genuinely happy to be playing. This band is the real deal... they sound great and they are professional. I would, without a doubt, hire them again.

Those Guys Band exceeded our expectations! We had a 76th Birthday celebration. The majority of the guests were senior citizens. They played top 40 music and catered to our cha cha & swing music requests. The whole crowd was dancing. We had last minute requests on our timeline the day of the event and they accommodated all our requests. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the band. When we first reached out to Those Guys Entertainment, I was impressed. My husband and I had been looking for a top 40 band for so long! Wade was responsive, informative and professional. They were perfect!! What an amazing performance! They played our ceremony, our cocktail hour as guests walked in, and our full reception! Those Guys performed at my 40th birthday. They were so great to work with ahead of time, making sure they had a good play list of music to fit the theme, plus some of my other favorites. At the party they had EVERYONE rocking and dancing and having a GREAT time. They MADE the party -- so fun dancing and having a good time with all. The amount of energy they had and professionalism blew us all away. They are great and can't recommend them more highly.

"To me a live band was an essential ingredient of a great party. I have been to weddings where a DJ stood in the corner and lights flashed but a live band really adds atmosphere to an event. Especially a wedding reception. Because our wedding reception was about 10,000 miles from our house, the process of selecting a local band and auditioning them was impossible. Wade was quick to respond to my many, many questions and took the process from impossible to done in no time. A fair rate (compared to others in the area) and even the promise to learn a few country songs for us meant that I knew I had found the band for our reception. The evening was a great success. The band was there on time, all set up, without us having to help co-ordinate. They let us use their equipment for speeches and the songs they played were exactly what we had hoped for. They started the evening off with a few classics and songs that my Mom even said "oh my, I'm singing along!!" which got the older folks dancing. Then as the night wore on and the drinks flowed they switched gears and kept the dance floor hopping all night long. Other than one of the girls beating herself to a bruise with a tambourine and a couple of the gents embarrassing themselves singing karaoke between sets, the night was one to remember and one that people still talk about more than six months on.
